Indian MP Dr. Shashi Tharoor gave a befitting reply to a senior MP from Russia in the French language during an inter-prime conference held in Moscow. The incident occurred when Russian MP Leonid Sltsky gave a speech in French during the meeting and included Pakistan on the issue of terrorism with India. To this, Tharoor first responded in English and then in French.

Tharoor said that Pakistan is a country that gives shelter to terrorist organizations, trains them, funds and sends them to other countries.
He objected to that India was included on stage with India despite being a victim of terrorism.
Tharoor said that sharing a platform with a country is not justified, which promotes terrorism itself.
He replied to Sltsky’s speech in French, not only strengthened the Indian side, but also explained the situation of India diplomatically.
