Not only BJP, Congress is also in dilemma regarding CM face in Haryana

New Delhi, September 20 (IANS). The date of Haryana assembly elections is near. Voting will be held on all the seats of the state on October 5. But before the elections, BJP and Congress are in a dilemma regarding the CM face.

Not only Congress, but BJP is also in a dilemma regarding the CM face in this election. There can be many reasons behind this, such as internal politics of the party, differences between various groups and the public reaction during the previous tenure. On the other hand, Congress, which has been continuously trying to strengthen its position for the last several years, is also not making its position clear regarding the CM face.

Let us understand why BJP and Congress are in a dilemma regarding the CM face.

Political experts believe that BJP had given the command of the Chief Minister’s post to Naib Singh Saini a few months ago. Perhaps this is the reason why BJP is neither making Naib Singh Saini the CM face nor asking for votes by mentioning the work done during his tenure. BJP is going to different places in Haryana and asking for votes on the basis of its ten-year tenure.

On the other hand, Congress has also not announced any name for the CM face. Recently, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge had said that after the elections, there will be a meeting of the legislative party and the party MLAs will choose their leader.

Most people believe that the reason behind not making Bhupendra Hooda the CM face is that Hooda has been accused of corruption and investigations are underway. Perhaps this is the reason why Congress is not making him the CM face due to his tainted past. Apart from this, the opposition parties of Congress often say that in Haryana, Congress has become a father-son party, this can also be a big reason why Congress did not make Hooda the CM face.
