Rahul Gandhi: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has taken a dig at the Central Government, expressing concern over rising inflation and falling income. He made a post on social media and wrote, “Nothing remains!”, These four words of Ajit Bhai and his tears are telling the story of every working poor and middle class of India today.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has posted a video on social media platform X, in which he is seen getting a shave at a shop and talking to the barber. During this, the barber is seen narrating his story with him. When he asked the barber for the house rent, he told him Rs 2,500. He further said that the house is on rent, the shop is on rent, Rs 15,000 is spent on this, nothing is left.
While posting the video on X, Rahul Gandhi wrote, “Nothing is left!”, These four words of Ajit Bhai and his tears are telling the story of every working poor and middle class of India today. From barber to cobbler, potter to carpenter – falling income and rising inflation have taken away the aspirations of manual workers to own their shop, their house and even their self-respect. What is needed today is such modern measures and new schemes, which will increase income and bring back savings to households. And, a society where talent gets its due and every step of hard work takes you up the stairs of progress.
“Nothing remains!”
