In a conversation with the media, Juel Oram reiterated his decision and said that now he wants to see the youth moving forward. However, on the question of becoming a Rajya Sabha member or Governor, he said that even if it did not happen, he will continue to work for the organization.

He became the Minister of Union Tribal Affairs for the first time in 1999. When the NDA returned to power for the third time in 2024, he again got a ministerial position.
