Balasore case: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has expressed grief over the death of a suicide student in Balasore, Odisha. He met the victim’s family and also interacted. A post has been shared on social media on behalf of Rahul. He said that whatever happened is extremely shameful. Rahul said that this is a huge injury for the whole society.

Rahul Gandhi said through a post on X, “Talked to the father of a brave daughter who lost his life in the fight for justice in Baleshwar, Odisha. The daughter’s pain, dream and struggle were all felt in her voice. He assured him that the Congress party and I would support him in every way. What happened is very inhuman and shameful. We will ensure that the victim’s family gets full justice in any case. ”

Student died during treatment

A student of Fakir Mohan College of Balasore had complained about sexual harassment case. He had told in the complaint that a senior college professor is harassing again and again, but no action was taken on the matter. The student in the end was upset and caught herself on fire. He then died during treatment.

He had alleged on Tuesday that the ‘system’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) killed this girl. The Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should not remain silent on this subject, but should answer as soon as possible.

Protesters created ruckus in Odisha
