New Delhi, September 15 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister after two days. After this announcement by Chief Minister Kejriwal, BJP MP from New Delhi Bansuri Swaraj said, “Kejriwal should have resigned 177 days ago. Why is he taking 48 hours to resign now? Is there some tussle going on in his party regarding the CM face?” He and the entire cabinet should resign immediately. If they want elections in November, then it is in their hands.
At the same time, after Kejriwal’s resignation announcement, Aam Aadmi Party held a press conference and said that nothing was found from any AAP leader’s place during the CBI-ED raid. In response to this question, Bansuri Swaraj said that I want to remind the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party that for the fourth time the court of this country has ordered that the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is legal.
The court has found that the investigating agencies have strong evidence. I would also like to point out that procedural bail has been granted because the trial takes some time. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is still an accused and a criminal.
Let us tell you that Kejriwal has recently been granted bail by the Supreme Court in the alleged liquor scam case of Delhi. After coming out of Tihar Jail, Kejriwal addressed AAP supporters. Kejriwal had said, my intention has become 100 times stronger.
On Saturday, he visited the ancient Hanuman temple in Connaught Place. Former education minister Manish Sisodia was also with him. On Sunday, he reached the Aam Aadmi Party office in Delhi. Here, in front of senior party leaders, ministers and MLAs, he announced his resignation from the post of CM after two days.
