Lucknow, Sep 15 (IANS) Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council member Lal Bihari Yadav has expressed his opinion on the Samajwadi Party’s stand on the resignation announcement of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
While talking to journalists, he slammed the BJP and said that these people do not want the opposition to survive in Indian politics. These people have started working towards giving a concrete shape to politics without opposition. We will not let this happen at any cost.
He said, “BJP wants to eliminate the opposition by hook or crook. These people do not want anyone to raise voice against BJP in Indian politics, so wherever there are Chief Ministers of non-BJP ruled states, new tactics are being adopted to trouble them, but we will not let these tactics succeed at any cost.”
He said, “The BJP is hell-bent on crushing democracy and destroying the principles of the Constitution during its rule. If animosity increases in the name of caste, religion and sect in any society, then how will the society unite? How will the wind of development flow in the society?”
Taking a dig at the BJP, he said, “Kejriwal is merely resigning, but perhaps you do not know that some people are committing suicide due to the terror of the BJP. Some people have become so scared during the BJP rule that they are saying that we should die, if we remain alive, then these people (BJP) will keep troubling us like this. During the BJP rule, dictatorship has reached its peak. It has become very difficult for people to live.”
Let us tell you that after getting bail from the Supreme Court in the new excise policy case, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, while addressing the workers, announced to resign from his post after two days.
