New Delhi, September 6 (IANS) On the encounter of a criminal with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and one of the main accused in the robbery at a jewellery shop a few days ago, Congress Rajya Sabha MP Naseer Hussain has said that the BJP does the politics of encounter and bulldozer.
Talking to IANS, MP Naseer Hussain said, “Everyone knows about the excesses of the government in UP. If someone comes to power, he starts thinking of himself as Hitler and Mussolini. We oppose this behavior and this kind of politics. India is a democratic country. If someone has to be punished, then it should be done according to the law. It is the job of the court to punish and the court should be allowed to do this work. Neither the police nor the bulldozer can punish anyone.
Apart from this, on Owaisi’s statement “There is only hatred in Himachal’s love shop”, he said that Congress not only spreads love but also opposes communal politics.
In his statement, he denied Congress’ support to Maulana Tauqeer Raza’s statement that Muslims should surround Delhi. He said, “We do not support such divisive statements. India is a democratic country. Everyone has the freedom to protest and put pressure on the government. But we have to follow the law and order under the Constitution.
It is noteworthy that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had accused the Congress party of speaking the language of the BJP in Himachal Pradesh. Owaisi had posted a video on social media and said, “Is the government in Himachal Pradesh of the BJP or the Congress? There is only hatred in Himachal’s ‘Mohabbat ki Dukaan’.”
