Chandauli, September 1 (INS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday participated in the 425th birth anniversary celebrations of Aghoracharya Baba Keenaram held in Chandauli district. During this, Yogi Adityanath said that no saint, mahatma and yogi can ever be a slave of any power, rather he inspires the society to follow his path. This is what Keenaram Baba presented to everyone by taking birth 425 years ago through divine meditation.
In the program, CM Yogi said that Baba Keenaram used his siddhi for the welfare of the nation and the people. Seeing the distortion of the society of that time, he worked to unite the society. He awakened the spirit of establishing a beautiful society free from discrimination for the tribals, Dalits and forest dwellers. This was possible only through an Aghoracharya, Yogi and Saint.
Referring to the incidents related to Baba Keenaram’s life, CM Yogi said that despite being born in a high-class family, Baba started many programs to improve the lives of a large number of tribals and other people. He also reprimanded the government from time to time.
CM Yogi said that Baba Kinaram established the Kree Kund in Kashi by combining all the sadhna methods of India together. The proof of his power and purity is in front of all of us.
The Chief Minister said that when the medical college was being constructed in Chandauli, the local MLA and MP had proposed that something should be named after Baba, so I had said that what could be better than a medical college. It is our good fortune that the medical college being built in the name of revered Baba will now become a medium for the good health and well-being of the people.
