Jaipur, December 17 (IANS). On the occasion of completion of one year of Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan, ‘One Year – Result Utkarsh’ program was organized in Dadiya, Jaipur. During this, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 24 projects worth more than Rs 46,300 crore.
Addressing the public meeting on this occasion, PM Modi said that I congratulate the people of Rajasthan and the BJP government of Rajasthan on completing one year. One year of Bhajan Lal government is a celebration of the spreading light of Rajasthan. After this journey of one year, when you have come in lakhs to give blessings, I am also fortunate that I could receive your blessings today.
In the last one year, Bhajan Lal and his entire team have worked very hard to give new momentum and new direction to the development of Rajasthan. In a way, this first year has become a strong foundation for many years to come. Today’s celebration is not limited to the completion of one year of the government, it is also a celebration of the spreading light of Rajasthan, it is also a celebration of the development of Rajasthan.
PM Modi said that investment and employment opportunities are increasing in Rajasthan. This will greatly benefit Rajasthan’s tourism, farmers and young people. Just a few days ago I came to Rajasthan for the investment summit. Big investors from across the country and the world had gathered here. Today, projects worth more than Rs 45-50 thousand crore have been inaugurated and foundation stones laid here. The BJP government has also made thousands of recruitments here in a year. Here examinations have been conducted with complete transparency and appointments are also being made.
He said that today the double engine governments of BJP are becoming a symbol of good governance. Whatever resolution BJP takes, it makes sincere efforts to fulfill it. Today the people of the country are saying that BJP is the guarantee of good governance. That is why today BJP is getting huge public support in one state after another. The people of the country have given BJP the opportunity to serve the country for the third consecutive time in the Lok Sabha elections. This had not happened in India in the last 60 years. BJP is rapidly fulfilling the promises it had made. Today’s program is also an important link in this. With the blessings of the people of Rajasthan, there is BJP government at the center for 10 years. In these 10 years, we have laid a lot of emphasis on providing facilities to the people of the country and reducing difficulties in their lives.
BJP’s policy is of dialogue, not controversy. We believe in cooperation, not opposition. We believe in solutions, not disruption. Our government has also approved and expanded the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project. As soon as BJP governments were formed in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, an agreement was reached on the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal link project. Parvati, Kalisindh, Chambal project will provide irrigation water and drinking water to 21 districts of Rajasthan. This will accelerate the development of both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
PM Modi said in his address that it is the continuous effort of the BJP government to improve the economic condition of the villages, this is very important to make a developed India. We are emphasizing on every means of earning and employment in villages. The BJP government has made many agreements in the electricity sector in Rajasthan. Our farmers are going to benefit the most from these.
Rajasthan government plans to provide electricity to the farmers here even during the day. This is a big step in this direction to free farmers from the compulsion of irrigation at night. The modern development work that is being done in Rajasthan today, and the infrastructure that is being built, will be useful for the present and future generations. This will be useful in making Rajasthan developed. When Rajasthan develops, India will also develop rapidly. The double engine government will work at a faster pace in the coming years.
