The opposition alliance ‘Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance’ (India) constituents will have an online meeting on Saturday evening, in which the monsoon session of Parliament will discuss a common strategy to surround the government and the current political situation in the country.
The meeting is proposed at seven in the evening. Earlier this meeting was to be held at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on ’10 Rajaji Marg ‘but due to unavailability of some prominent leaders in Delhi, this meeting has been called through digital medium.
A day before this meeting, the alliance suffered a major setback when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday distanced a distance from the ‘India’ alliance and said that it is no longer a part of the opposition alliance and questioned the role of the Congress party in leading it.
Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said on Friday that during the monsoon session during the monsoon session, the attackers of the Pahalgam terror attack till now, the revelations of some defense officers on ‘Operation Sindoor’, the claims related to some defense officers, the claims related to the mediation of US President Donald Trump and the subject of China should be discussed at least two days and no compromise can be made on this demand.
Ramesh also said in an interview to ‘PTI-Bhasha’ that the opposition would also demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi come to the House and answer on these subjects. He said that it is the responsibility of the government, not the opposition, to avoid deadlock in Parliament and to conduct the proceedings smoothly.
The monsoon session of Parliament starts from July 21 and 21 August is a total of 21 meetings. The meeting of ‘India’ coalition leaders is meeting after a long time.
