Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that Operation Sindoor has clarified the world’s strict policy against terrorism and whatever proper step his government is in the national interest.
At an event organized on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of conversation between spiritual person and social reformer Shri Narayan Guru and Mahatma Gandhi, he said without naming the country that weapons manufactured in India showed their impact during the struggle with Pakistan.
He said, “We have shown that no hideout is safe for terrorists who shed the blood of Indians.” He said that his government has worked on the ideals of the revered spiritual person who wanted a strong India that is free from any kind of discrimination.
Modi said that his government has worked to strengthen India in social, economic and defense sectors in the last 11 years.
He said that India’s dependence on foreign countries is decreasing to meet its defense needs and it is becoming self -sufficient in the defense sector.
He said about the accurate attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied by terrorists in Pahalgam that the Indian Army brought the enemy to knees in 22 minutes with arms manufactured in India.
He said that he is confident that weapons manufactured in India in future will be appreciated worldwide.
The Prime Minister, citing the welfare schemes of his government in other areas including housing, drinking water and health insurance, said that it has empowered the deprived and backward classes of the society.
He said that in the last 11 years, more number of IITs, IIMs and AIIMS have been opened than before.
