Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s speech in Rajya Sabha on Thursday morning and said that he clearly expressed the government’s perspective on major aspects related to the success of national security and operation sindoor.
PM Modi posted on X, responding to Amit Shah’s tweet, who shared his speech in the Rajya Sabha during a special discussion on India’s military response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
He said, “Home Minister Amit Shah’s an unprecedented speech in the Rajya Sabha. He clearly expressed our government’s perspective on the major aspects related to national security, overthrowing terrorist network and the success of Operation Sindoor.”
Shah on Wednesday appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that under his leadership, India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan with airstrikes and surgical strikes and said that “awe has arisen”.
Addressing the Upper House, Shah said, “Earlier we used to send dosier only, but under the leadership of Narendra Modi, we have given a befitting reply to Pakistan with air strike and surgical strikes. Awe has arisen.”
Making fun of the Congress, Shah said that the party has no right to question the Bharatiya Janata Party about terrorism. He blamed the Congress vote bank and appeasement politics for spreading terrorism in the country.
Shah said, “Congress has no right to ask BJP about terrorism. The only reason for spreading terrorism in the country is the vote bank and appeasement politics of the Congress.”
Shah also said that the entire country has seen that the priority of the Congress party is not to end national security and terrorism, but the politics of vote bank and appeasement.
Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge demanded that Prime Minister Modi come to the Rajya Sabha and reply to Operation Sindoor after a hot debate in the Lok Sabha.
Opposition MPs walked out of the Rajya Sabha after a sharp debate between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of Opposition in the House Mallikarjun Kharge in the House about the absence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the proceedings.
