The heartbreaking terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir has shocked the entire country. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched a scathing attack on the central government on Wednesday morning over the killing of innocent tourists in this attack. He described the incident as “the failure of the intelligence” and said that the government should churn seriously on its anti -terrorism policy.
Owaisi said, “This is also the failure of the intelligence system. The government will have to analyze whether its policy of stopping terrorism is really effective. The attack is more condemnable than Uri and Pulwama attacks, as this time terrorists have targeted innocent citizens. This is a massacre. We demand the government to decide the accountability in this matter.”
According to reports, the terrorists attacked tourists from across the country by surrounded by the grass of Baisran. Owaisi expressed grief over this barbaric incident and said that the AIMIM party is standing with the victim’s families and wishes for the injured to get well soon.
He said, “The terrorists identified the innocent people, asking them to death. We strongly condemn what happened in Pahalgam and hope that the government will punish these terrorists.
After this terrorist attack, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the families of the victims outside the Police Control Room in Srinagar and paid tribute. Army and security forces have started intensive search operations to search for the attackers. As part of the increased security measures, the Indian Army has allowed limited flights to its advanced light helicopter (ALH) Dhruv in Srinagar and surrounding areas.
After this attack, the bodies of the victims were brought to the Srinagar airport, from where they were sent to their home states. Many representatives of the state governments reach Srinagar and are busy ensuring the return of the victims and tourists.
This terrorist attack, Article 370 is considered to be the biggest attack ever after being removed. The Ministry of Civil Aviation has arranged four additional flights for Delhi and Mumbai. According to the information, arrangements are being made for coordination with the airlines and flights.
This area of Pahalgam is usually buzzing with tourists, but the roads here have become deserted after the attack. Many tourists have stopped their trips in the middle due to security reasons. At the same time, many organizations have called for Jammu bandh against this attack. There is anger over this incident all over the country and strict action is being demanded from the government.
