In response to the Pahalgam terror attack, a few hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the high -level CCS meeting, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Security Committee. The announcement has been made on the social media platform X on behalf of Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, in which he has confirmed that national security will be the main subject of discussion.
He wrote, “Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Security Committee on Thursday morning to react to the statement of the Government of India this evening.”
On the other hand, Canada on Wednesday condemned about 36 hours after the incident of a horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney wrote on the social media platform X, “I am shocked by the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
At the same time, the central government has decided to call an all-party meeting on April 24 regarding the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. A day after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired the Cabinet Committee (CCS) meeting on security, which lasted for more than two hours.
