Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in view of the Pahalgam terror attack. During this, the Defense Minister apprised PM Modi about the security situation of Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting between the two leaders is at a time when India is considering the options to punish those involved in the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April.
26 people were killed in this attack, mostly tourists. India, citing the ‘cross -border links’ of this horrific attack, has said that the people involved in the attacks will be punished severely. However, there is no official statement about Rajnath Singh’s meeting with the Prime Minister yet.
Prime Minister Modi on Sunday, assuring the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the people involved in its conspiracy, on Sunday said that the victims will be justice together.
In his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, Modi said that every Indian’s blood is boiling after seeing the pictures of the attack. The Prime Minister said that unity of the country and solidarity of 140 crore citizens in this war against terrorism is the greatest force.
