Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday expressed a desire to talk with India on all pending issues including Jammu and Kashmir, Indus Water Treaty, Trade and Anti-Terrorism.

According to a statement released on X by the government channel ‘Pakistan Television’, Shahbaz said this during a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Shahbaz Sharif greeted US President Donald Trump during the conversation. He praised the courageous leadership of the President.

He also appreciated Rubio’s active diplomacy, which helped Pakistan and India reach the ceasefire agreement. In this context, he expressed his desire to interact with India on all pending issues including Jammu and Kashmir, Indus Water Treaty, Business and Anti-Terrorism.
India has made it clear that the talks will only take place on the issue of terrorism.
