He said that Goldie Brar has asked him to threaten. Pappu Yadav is currently campaigning for Hemant Soren in Jharkhand elections. During this time, he is continuously receiving death threats. The latest threat has come through an audio call. In this audio of 3 minutes 57 seconds, the person making the threat is repeatedly saying that he is talking to Pakistan. He is saying that earlier also he had tried to convince by calling from Nepal, but Pappu Yadav did not agree. Now they will be killed.

Pappu Yadav’s birthday is on 24th December. The caller has threatened to kill Pappu Yadav before his birthday. The threatening person is saying that Goldie Bhai has asked him to call. He called on Sunday also, but Pappu Yadav did not pick up the phone.

Pappu Yadav said that the criminal is repeatedly mentioning his family. He warned the culprit to do as much recce as he could, but not to involve his family in it. A week ago Pappu Yadav had received a threatening letter from the courier. It was said that within 15 days his office Arjun Bhawan in Delhi would be blown up. Even before this, he had received many threatening calls and messages. Some time ago, the police had arrested Mahesh Pandey from Delhi, a person who had issued threats in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi. However, the police had said that Mahesh Pandey has no relation with Lawrence Bishnoi. After the latest threat, a challenge has once again arisen for the Purnia Police.
