The proceedings started in both the houses, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha from 11 am, but as soon as the proceedings started in the Lok Sabha, the opposition started creating a strong uproar. The opposition created a ruckus demanding a discussion about the voter list in Bihar.
At the same time, as soon as the proceedings started in the Rajya Sabha, he was paid tribute to the death of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren. After this, Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh suspended the Rajya Sabha proceedings till 11 am the next day. Today, Amit Shah in the Rajya Sabha was going to offer a proposal to extend President’s rule in Manipur from August 13 to 6 months.
Kiren Rijiju expressed grief
In the Lok Sabha, the opposition is constantly raising slogans and protests, due to which the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were postponed till 2 pm. After this, when the proceedings started again, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that he was sad to see the situation of the House.
Rijiju said that all parties had decided to discuss and pass the National Sports Administration Bill and the National Anti -Doping Amendment Bill. At the opposition’s request, we agreed to allocate two days to discuss these bills. And now we have brought this important bill for the players, so the opposition is creating obstacles.
After this, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were postponed till 11 am due to the continuous performance of the opposition.
Discussion was done only 2 days in 10 days
In the last 10 days, there has been a good discussion in the House for only 2 days. During that time, Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor were discussed. At the same time, members of all opposition parties, including Congress, are protesting on the verification case of voters in Bihar. After which the proceedings of the House would have to be postponed as soon as it started.
