The countrymen have been angry since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. On social media, people are appealing to the Modi government to take strict action. Meanwhile, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also hoped a strong response and said that the terrorists murdered people in Pahalgam by asking him religion, but Hindus would never do so.
“We expect a strong response,” he said at a public event on Thursday.
This was said three days after the death of 26 people (most of whom were tourists) in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
The RSS chief said, “People were asked by their religion and they were killed. Hindus will never do this. War is between religion and unrighteousness. We have pain in our heart. We are angry. But we have to show strength to destroy evil. Ravana refused to change his mind and there was no other option. Rama killed him only after giving him a chance to improve.”
The RSS chief also said that unity in society is necessary to stop such tragedies and to prevent malicious intentions.
He said, “If we are united, no one will dare to look at us with bad intentions. And if anyone does so, his eye will be broken. We expect a strong response.”
He said, “Disgust and enmity is not in our nature. But it is not our nature to bear the loss quietly. A true non -violent person should also be strong. If there is no strength, there is no option. But when there is strength, it should be visible if needed.”
