Owaisi wrote on Twitter, “The police post being built near Jama Masjid in Sambhal is on Waqf land, as records show. Moreover, construction near monuments protected under the Ancient Monuments Act is prohibited. Narendra Modi And Yogi Adityanath is responsible for creating a dangerous environment in Sambhal.”
Earlier on Monday, Owaisi had said that there have been empirical studies which clearly show that where the number of Muslims is high in a place, locality or area, the government is less able to provide public services like hospitals, schools, colleges etc. Has failed.
He further said that a recent study has been conducted by Paul Lovosad of Dartmouth College and MIT, which clearly shows how much governments, especially the BJP government, have discriminated in not providing public services.
He also highlighted the worrying school dropout rates among Muslim women, low literacy rates, limited number of graduates in the Muslim community and serious medical issues.
