Tribal Pride Day marks the historic occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. On this occasion, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 6,640 crore. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of 10 Eklavya Model Residential Schools and 300 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras. These will provide new opportunities for education and employment to the tribal youth.
Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram said in Jamui on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two Tribal Freedom Fighters Museums and two Tribal Research Institutes to honor the contribution of tribal freedom fighters during his visit. Will also be involved in the house warming program of 11,000 houses constructed under PM-Janman to improve the quality of life of tribal communities.
Strict security arrangements
Strict security arrangements have been made for PM Modi’s program. The venue of the event located at Ballopur Maidan has been taken under its surveillance by the Special Protection Group (SPG). Senior officials of the district administration and police are continuously monitoring the security arrangements. Three helipads, German hangar tents and seating arrangements for about 25,000 people have also been made at the venue.
