An important meeting was held in Delhi between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard. He also spoke to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh before this meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Tulsi Gabbard. During this discussion, Rajnath Singh expressed deep concern over the anti -India activities of the banned Khalistani organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ) active in the US. According to sources, the Government of India has clarified its stand on the issue and urged the US intelligence director to take strict action against SFJ. In this meeting, various aspects of defense cooperation, intelligence information sharing and security cooperation were also discussed between the two countries.
Discussion on Indo-US relations
It is noteworthy that SFJ has been declared an illegal organization by the Government of India. India has demanded strict action from the US regarding the activities of this organization. Tulsi Gabbard’s visit to India is taking place after Prime Minister Modi’s visit to America last month. During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi described Tulsi Gabbard as a “strong supporter” of Indo-US Friendship. At the same time, Tulsi Gabbard described the meeting with Prime Minister Modi as “honor” for himself and expressed his commitment to further strengthen the Indo-US bilateral relations.
