PM Modi greeted Gujarat-Maharashtra Foundation Day, appreciated the culture and contribution of the states

Prime Minister Modi greeted the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra on the state day. He appreciated the rich culture of the state, the sense of entrepreneurship and mobility. PM Modi said that Gujaratis have excelled in various fields while remembering the glorious history and courage of the people of Maharashtra.

In his ex -post on Gujarat State Day, he wrote, “My best wishes to the people of Gujarat on the pride of their state day. The state has distinguished itself for its culture, entrepreneurship spirit and dynamics. The people of Gujarat have excelled in various fields. The state continues to achieve new heights of progress.” Earlier today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the people of Gujarat on the occasion of Gujarat Day and appreciated the rich natural resources of the state, historical and cultural heritage and warm hospitality.

In a post on X, he wrote, “A very happy Gujarat Day to all the sisters and brothers of Gujarat, famous for diverse natural resources, historical and cultural heritage and hospitality. Gujarat has always attracted people from all over the world with his talent, hard work and practical skills. have contributed.”

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also greeted all Gujaratis on the Gujarat State Foundation Day, which is also known as ‘Gujarat Gaurav Day’, which celebrates the rich heritage and contribution of the state.

Highlighting the importance of this year’s Gujarat Gaurav Day, Patel announced a roadmap to celebrate the decade from 2025 to 2035 as “Utkarsh Gujarat Diamond Festival”, which will conclude as a diamond birth anniversary of the formation of Gujarat in 2035.

May 1 is celebrated as the foundation day of Maharashtra and Gujarat, which reminds of the establishment of two states. Gujarat and Maharashtra were formed in 1960 after the Partition of the Bombay state after the passage of the Bombay Reorganization Act, which came into force on 1 May 1960.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the people of the state on the foundation day of Maharashtra. In a post on social media, the PM wrote that when someone thinks about Maharashtra, he has a glorious history and courage of the people here.

He wrote, “Happy Maharashtra Day to the people of the state, which has always played an important role in the development of India. When someone thinks about Maharashtra, his glorious history and the courage of the people come to our mind. The state remains a strong pillar of progress and at the same time, is connected to its roots. My best wishes for the progress of the state.”

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the United Maharashtra movement at Hutatma Chowk on the foundation day of the state.

CM Fadnavis said, “Maharashtra Day is an important opportunity for India’s most progressive state. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Balasaheb Ambekar are determined to stop Maharashtra, which follows the route shown by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Balasaheb Ambekar. Our effort is to make a trillion dollar economy.”

He said that the details of a new 100-day development initiative will be announced soon. Meanwhile, in Pune, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar hoisted the national flag at the police headquarters Parado Ground of the city.

At another ceremony held in Mumbai, Maharashtra Governor Rabindranath Bais hoisted the national flag and paid tribute to the state’s foundation day.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also hoisted the flag at Saket Maidan in Thane and paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the United Maharashtra movement.

The United Maharashtra Parishad was an anticipated organization of the United Maharashtra Committee, which was created with a claim to create a separate Marathi -speaking state from Bombay state, the capital of which was Bombay.
