Ranchi, November 9 (IANS). Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Vrinda Karat had a special conversation with IANS on Saturday. During this, he condemned the Income Tax Department raid at the personal secretary of Hemant Soren.
Regarding the Income Tax Department’s raid on the house of the private secretary of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Vrinda Karat said, ‘This is very wrong. There are only four days left for the assembly elections and in such a situation it is wrong to raid the Chief Minister’s secretary. This shows how disappointed the BJP is.
Apart from this, in the context of elections, he targeted BJP and PM Modi. He taunted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the commander of the team attacking the Election Commission’s code of conduct. He is carrying forward the brand policy of lies and poison of Bharatiya Janata Party.
The CPI (M) leader further said that it is very unfortunate that where the election process is concerned with creating public opinion, they are running their election campaign by creating hatred. We are strongly opposing BJP’s intention of forming a double engine government in Jharkhand.
Vrinda Karat further said that our publicity campaign is going on among the general public. We are standing on nine seats. On the basis of the alternative policy of CPI(M), we are working by putting forward the real issues of the people of Jharkhand. BJP says that infiltration is for land and daughter, but this is not true. Gujarat companies are coming to capture the minerals of Jharkhand and Modi is standing to hide it.
He said that on the other hand, the government of Hemant Soren is also following the same path instead of competing. It is very sad that there is no protector of the tribal land and their culture here.
