PM Modi Varanasi Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift projects worth Rs 6100 crore on Sunday (October 20) in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. With this he will inaugurate RJ Shankar Eye Hospital at around 2 pm. After this, at around 4:15 pm he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects in Varanasi. During this time, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak will also be present.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Varanasi airport at 1 pm. After this he will go to inaugurate RJ Shankar Eye Hospital. The hospital will have comprehensive consultation and treatment for various eye diseases. Here he will also address the people present. After this, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development schemes in Varanasi at 4:15 pm.
Will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate these schemes
– Foundation stone will be laid for extension of airport runway and construction of new terminal building and related works at a cost of approximately Rs 2870 crore at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi.
The foundation stone of new civil enclaves will also be laid at Agra Airport at a cost of more than Rs 570 crore, Darbhanga Airport at a cost of approximately Rs 910 crore and Bagdogra Airport at a cost of approximately Rs 1550 crore.
New terminal buildings at Rewa Airport, Maa Mahamaya Airport, Ambikapur and Sarsawa Airport will be inaugurated at a cost of more than Rs 220 crore. The combined passenger handling capacity of these airports will be more than 2.3 crore passengers annually.
– Prime Minister will inaugurate Phase 2 and 3 of redevelopment of Varanasi Sports Complex at a cost of over Rs 210 crore under Khelo India Scheme and Smart City Mission.
– Inauguration of 100 bedded girls and boys hostel and public pavilion at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sports Stadium in Lalpur.
– Inauguration of tourism development works in areas related to Buddhism in Sarnath.
– Also inaugurated several other initiatives like tourism development works at Banasur Temple and Gurudham Temple, beautification and redevelopment of parks etc.
Can also announce free food program
Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also announce the free food program started by Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust. Under this scheme, food is to be provided to the students of 16 Sanskrit schools and the attendants of three hospitals. It is being told that PM Modi had announced this during his visit on February 22, 2024. It is being told that 3 to 5 thousand people will be given free food every day by the Temple Trust. A special kitchen has also been prepared for this scheme.
Meanwhile, BJP District President Dilip Patel said that PM Modi will be given a grand welcome with flowers and garlands at various places in the city. During this time drums will also be played. Hoardings have been put up across the city ahead of PM Modi’s visit.
