Hazaribagh, October 2 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Jharkhand for the second time on Wednesday after a gap of 17 days. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of schemes worth more than Rs 83 thousand crore from the land of Hazaribagh. On this occasion, there is also a program of dialogue with representatives of 32 tribal groups. After this he will address the Parivartan rally of Bharatiya Janata Party at Gandhi Maidan in Matwari, Hazaribagh. The Prime Minister came to Jharkhand on 15 September. He had flagged off 6 Vande Bharat Express trains from Jamshedpur and later addressed a political rally.
The Prime Minister will be in Jharkhand on October 2 for 4 hours 35 minutes. Will reach Ranchi by special plane at 1.10 pm and then come to Hazaribagh by chopper. The government programs will start at 2 pm in Vinoba Bhave University campus here. PM will launch ‘Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ costing Rs 79 thousand 156 crore from here. He will inaugurate 40 Eklavya schools and lay the foundation stone of 25 schools in Jharkhand.
The ‘Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Abhiyan’ which will be launched by the Prime Minister, was approved by the Union Cabinet on September 18. This is the fourth time that he will launch an important central scheme from the soil of Jharkhand. Before this, he had started Ayushman Yojana in 2018, Kisan Maandhan Yojana in 2019, Retail Trade and Self-Employment Pension Scheme and Eklavya Model School and Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and PM Jan Man Yojana in November 2023 from the soil of Jharkhand.
The scheme of ‘Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan’ focuses on the objectives of connecting the tribal dominated villages of the country with the mainstream of development and economically empowering the tribal population. The scheme will cover about 63,000 tribal dominated villages falling under 2,740 blocks in 549 districts of 30 states and union territories and will benefit more than 5 crore tribal population. Under this campaign, the target is to construct 20 lakh houses in tribal villages, 25 thousand kilometers of rural roads and bridges, and provide clean drinking water, gas and electricity connections to every household. Apart from this, 100 tribal market centres, ashrams and schools, mobile health centres, skill development centers are to be established. Under this campaign, a target has also been set to encourage agriculture, horticulture to increase the income of tribal groups and to preserve tribal culture, heritage and traditions.
The second program of the Prime Minister in Hazaribagh is political. He will address the concluding rally of BJP’s Parivartan Yatra at Gandhi Maidan in Matwari of the city. This journey started from 20 September. Union Home Minister Amit Shah had started this yatra from Bhognadih village of Sahibganj district. Since then the yatra has covered all the 81 assembly constituencies of the state.
The Prime Minister will leave for Delhi by a special plane from Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi at 5.45 pm.
