Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday responded to the discussion on the vote of thanks on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha. During this, PM Modi said that I am very lucky that the people of the country have given me a chance to answer the vote of thanks on the President’s address for the 14th time.

I express my gratitude respectfully to the public. Yesterday and today all the honorable members expressed their views on the thanks to the motion. This is natural and is a tradition of democracy, where the need was, there was praise and where there was some problems, some negative things were also said.

PM Modi said that we are in 2025. In a way, 25 percent of the 21st century has passed. What happened in the first 25 years of the 20th century and 21st centuries after independence, it will only decide the time. But if we study the President’s address with subtlety, then it is clear that he said to establish confidence among the people about the upcoming 25 years and developed India. Their address strengthens the resolve of developed India, creates new confidence and inspires common people.

For five decades, we kept listening to the slogans of poverty removal. Today 25 crore poor have defeated poverty and have risen above it. This has not happened suddenly. This has happened in a planned manner, due to dedicated efforts, due to deep sensitivity to the struggle of the poor. When someone dedicates his life to the service of the poor, such results are found. Those who are connected to the land, who understand its realities and dedicate their lives to it, they definitely bring change.

PM Modi said that we did not only give hollow slogans to the poor, we did real development. True commitment is required to understand the struggle of the poor, the difficulties of the common man and the challenges of the middle class. Sadly, some people do not have all this. Those who continue to entertain themselves by getting a photo session in slums, they will find the discussion on the poor in Parliament.

How difficult it is to live life under the raw roof of pallet and plastic. There are some moments when dreams are trampled and not everyone can understand it. So far, the poor have received four crore pucca houses. One who has lived that life, understands what is the house with a paved roof.
