Many protesters injured
As soon as a crowd of thousands of supporters led by Prashant Kishore proceeded from the airport to the dharna site in Gurdnibagh via Beli Road, the police stopped the way near Chitkohra Golambar. There was a sharp noise between the protesters and the police, after which lathicharge started. Many protesters were injured and there was chaos.
Please tell that the Jan Suraj Party had performed this on three serious issues. The first issue was why poor families have not received the assistance of two lakh rupees declared by the government for employment. Second, why the Dalit landless families were not given three decimal land and third, why no action is being taken against corruption prevailing in the land survey.
The Jan Suraj Party has accused the police of vandalism. The party says that the workers who were surrounded by the assembly in a peaceful manner were brutally lathi -charged.
