Nabanna abhiyan rally: The politics of West Bengal has once again been hot. The police lathi-charged the BJP leader Mamata Banerjee government at the ‘Nabanna Abhiyan’ rally organized by the BJP on the anniversary of the brutal rape-killing in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. BJP leader Ashok Dinda has given a very strict statement, raging from this incident. He said that now the day is not far when the police will also have to face the anger of the public. “We will kill the policemen so much that they will have to hide in Mamata Banerjee’s Aanchal” Dinda said. He also added that he is waiting for the order from the party just once. This statement shows how angry the BJP leaders are with this lathicharge and the conflict may increase in the coming time.
Mamta Banerjee is scared!
BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul described this police action as the result of Mamata Banerjee’s ‘fear’. He said that Mamata Banerjee is scared, so she got the police lathi -charged on the public. Paul claimed that the rally was held by court order, yet he was attacked. He challenged Mamata Banerjee and said that the public will answer this in the 2026 assembly elections. Agnimitra Paul also told that today it has been a year for Abhaya but he has not received justice yet. He alleged that the Mamta Banerjee government has eradicated all the evidence in the matter and hence they are seeking their resignation.
Mamta is going to go from Bengal!
Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Suvendu Adhikari also launched a scathing attack on the Mamta government. He clearly said that Mamata Banerjee is going to go from Bengal. He alleged that Mamata Banerjee was saving officers like Kolkata Commissioner Vineet Kumar Goel and RG Kar Medical College and former Principal Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, who was related to the matter. The officer demanded resignation from Mamta and said that if she does not do so, then after 8 months the people of Bengal will ‘clean’ her from here. During the rally, the protesters tried to break the police barricades in Howrah after which the police lathi -charged them. BJP’s elder leader Shubhendu Adhikari and Agnimitra Paul sat on a dharna after being stopped by the police. This development is indicating a storm in West Bengal politics.
