Birth and early life
Naresh Ganpat Mhaske was born on 24 March 1970 in Thane district of Maharashtra. His father Ganpat Mahskay and Mother’s name is Tai Ganpat Mhaske. He belongs to a Marathi family and most of his lives were spent in Thane itself. His wife’s name is Madhavi Naresh MHSSCE. He has two children a son and a daughter.
Education
He had his early education in Thane. After this he received higher education, but his inclination was towards politics from the beginning, due to which he started actively participating in political activities in puberty.
Political career
Naresh MHSSCE entered politics through Shiv Sena. Inspired by the views of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, he joined the party and played various responsibilities in the organization. He did several tasks to strengthen the party in Thane city. In view of his hard work and dedication, the party leadership gave him important responsibilities in Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
Tenure as Mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation (2019-2022)
With the beginning of the political journey, in 2019, Naresh Mhaske was elected the Mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation. During his tenure, he performed several development works in Thane city, mainly, efforts for improvement of road and transport system, special initiatives for hygiene and environmental protection, conducting relief work during Kovid-19 epidemic, implementing new schemes to promote digital administration, implementation of new schemes, implementation of slums rehabilitation schemes and appropriate social duties.
Naresh Ganpat Mhaske contested and won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as a candidate for Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde Gut) from Thane constituency. He defeated Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) candidate Rajan Vichade by a margin of 2,17,011 votes. With this victory, Naresh MHSSCE has strengthened the position of Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) in Thane.
