Sandipan Bhumre was born on 13 July 1962 into an ordinary farmer family in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. His father Asaram Sarajrao Bhumre and mother Venubai taught him hard work, honesty and service. After completing his studies up to 10th from Jawahar School, he took interest in farming and social work. The same association pulled him towards politics. Sandipan Bhumre started his political life as a Shiv Sena worker. In 1995, he contested for the first time from the Paithan assembly seat and won.
