Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party has filed a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Election Commission. In its complaint, BJP has also complained about Rahul Gandhi lying, trying to pit the states against each other and the allegation that Rahul Gandhi is destroying the Constitution.
A delegation led by senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has met Election Commission officials and complained against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said in his complaint that during a program in Maharashtra on November 6, Rahul Gandhi has once again tried to lie. They tried to pit the states against each other, they took a copy of the Constitution and then lied that the BJP wanted to destroy it. Which is a complete lie.
Allegation of violation of code of conduct
He said that despite warning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he is not desisting from lying. BJP has demanded registration of FIR against Rahul Gandhi under section 353 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Along with this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been accused of gross violation of the Model Code of Conduct. The BJP cited Rahul Gandhi’s alleged November 6 speech at a rally in Maharashtra, in which he accused the BJP and RSS of trying to destroy the Constitution.
BJP said in its complaint that Rahul Gandhi had said that if you bring out the list of vice chancellors of universities, you will not find any qualification. There is only one criteria for appointment – membership of the RSS. He had said that if you are from RSS then qualification does not matter. He had said that this is not happening only with one institute, but with all the institutes of the country.
Accused of provoking the youth
BJP also alleged that Congress leaders are provoking the youth of Maharashtra, which is extremely dangerous for the unity and integrity of the country. He is continuously making false, baseless, allegations against BJP. Their nefarious intention of creating a rift among the citizens of India on the basis of location, caste and religion is only for the purpose of gaining electoral gains in Maharashtra.
