Prashant Kishore has come with BPSC candidates to support them. After the movement along with the candidates, he has now sat on a fast unto death at Gandhi Maidan along with his supporters and candidates at Bapu Sthal in Gandhi Maidan. Prashant Kishore said, “The exam is for 15 thousand children, the children who are agitating are more than 3.5 lakh… People know and understand that there are complaints of corruption on more than half of the seats. The seats have been sold. Those who have studied He will not get a seat… The news is spread in every district and village that Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 1.5 crore are being charged for each job… The government should speak on this…”.

Jan Suraj leader Prashant Kishore had already announced that if the government does not cancel the BPSC exam, he will start a fast unto death. In this regard, Prashant Kishore had said that “My demands are to cancel the examination and conduct the examination afresh. The government had called for talks after the police lathi charge. Then a delegation of protesters met Chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena. After meeting him, Prashant Kishore announced that if Nitish Kumar’s government would wait only for “48 hours” to take action on BPSC paper leak and then he would intensify his agitation.

Prashant Kishore said that this fast will continue until the government cancels the BPSC exams. He said that the entire education system in Bihar is in disarray. He said that papers of different examinations are being leaked one after the other and the government is not doing anything. He said that our demands also include implementation of domicile policy.
