Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday, referred to the utility of drones in the war zone and other places, claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to understand its “revolution”.
The former Congress president uploaded a video on his YouTube channel regarding the drone and its associated technology. He said, “Drone has revolutionized the battlefield with a combination of batteries, motors and ‘optics’ for communication. Drone is not just technology, but they are lower level innovation operated by a strong industrial system. The area has been changed.
Gandhi said that this revolution is not just about war- it is about the industry, AI (artificial intelligence) and the next generation of technology. He said, “Unfortunately, Prime Minister Modi has failed to understand this. While he gives a ‘teleprompter’ (with the help of AI) on AI. Our competitors are mastering new technologies. ”He said that the real power is not just in making drones, but also in controlling the ‘electric’ motor, battery, ‘optics’ and production network.
