Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for five countries on Wednesday, during which he will attend the BRICS summit and hold a meeting with leaders of Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina and Namibia to strengthen bilateral relations.

Prime Minister Modi will start his visit to five countries from Ghana. This will be the Prime Minister’s first bilateral visit in the African country.

Prime Minister Modi said on X, “In the next few days I will participate in various bilateral, multilateral and other programs in Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia. I am eager to interact with world leaders and discuss ways to improve our planet.”

He said, “This evening I will reach Ghana, which is a valuable friend in Africa and a prominent partner in the global south. Talks with President John Droni Mahama will provide an opportunity to promote Indo-Ghana Maitri in various fields. Tomorrow, it is also a matter of honor to get an opportunity to address Ghana’s Parliament on 3 July.”

Modi further said, “On July 3 and 4, I will be in Trinidad and Tobago, a country that has historical relations with India. Meetings with President Christine Carla Kangalu and Prime Minister Kamla Prasad-Bissar will accelerate economic and cultural cooperation between our countries.”

He said, “My visit to Argentina will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister in 57 years. India and Argentina are working together to improve the G20 and bilaterally to improve economic relations, especially in future areas such as technology and innovation. There will be a detailed discussion with President Xavier.”

Prime Minister Modi wrote, “My visit to Brazil includes participation at the BRICS summit at Rio de Janeiro and bilateral state visit in Brasilia, which will be an Indian Prime Minister’s first visit in about six decades. There will be various meetings with world leaders during the Rio BRICS summit. I will also have a frequency to discuss new dimensions of India-Brazilian cooperation. Am.”

He said, “The purpose of Namibia’s visit is to strengthen the relationship with a reliable partner, with which we have a common history to oppose colonialism. President Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Nadaitwa and I will talk on ways to promote relationships in many fields. It will also be a matter of honor to address Namibia’s Parliament.”

Significantly, during Ghana’s visit, the Prime Minister will hold talks with the President of Ghana, in which a strong bilateral partnership will be reviewed and further opportunities will be discussed to increase it through economic, energy, defense cooperation and development cooperation partnership.

The journey will confirm the shared commitment of the two countries to deepen and strengthen bilateral relations. A release by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) states that India is increasing connectivity with ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African states) and African Union. The Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Ghana is taking place after three decades.

Prime Minister Modi will travel to Brazil from 5 to 8 July in the fourth phase of his visit, where he will attend the 17th BRICS Summit 2025, followed by a state visit to the South American country. This will be Prime Minister Modi’s fourth visit to Brazil.

The 17th BRICS leader’s summit will be held at Rio de Janeiro. During the summit, Prime Minister Modi will exchange ideas on major global issues including reforms, peace and security, strengthening of peace and safety, multiplicity, responsible use of artificial intelligence, climate action, global health and economic and financial matters.

The Prime Minister will also hold several bilateral meetings during the summit. During the state visit to Brazil, Prime Minister Modi will visit Brasilia, where he will hold bilateral discussions with Brazilian President Lewis Eneasio Lula Da Silva on the extension of strategic partnerships between the two countries in areas of interest in the areas of mutual interests including mutual interaction between Business, Defense, Energy, Space, Technology, Agriculture, Health and people.

In the second phase of his visit, Prime Minister Modi will hold an official visit to Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) on 3-4 July. This will be his first visit as Prime Minister and will be the first bilateral visit of Prime Minister level in Trinidad and Tobago since 1999.

During this visit, Prime Minister Modi will interact with Trinidad and Tobago President Christine Carla Kangalu and Prime Minister Kamla Prasad-Bissar and discuss further strengthening of bilateral relations. Prime Minister Modi will also address the joint session of the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Foreign Ministry release has said.pm that the Prime Minister’s trinidad and Tobago visit will give a new pace to deep and historical relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Modi will visit Argentina on July 4-5 in the third phase of his visit.

Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral talks with Argentina President Xavier Milli, in which the ongoing cooperation will be reviewed and discussions will be discussed in major areas including defense, agriculture, mining, oil and renewable energy, trade and investment, and relations between the people.

The release states that the Prime Minister’s bilateral visit will make the versatile strategy partnership between India and Argentina more deeper.

In the last phase of his visit, Prime Minister Modi will go on a state visit to Namibia on 9 July. This will be the Prime Minister’s first visit to Namibia, and Namibia from India will be the third Prime Minister’s Yatra.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral talks with President Netumbo Nandi Nadaitwa. Prime Minister Modi will also pay tribute to Namibia’s founder father and first President Late Sam Nujoma.

A release by the Ministry of External Affairs said that Prime Minister will also give a speech in Namibia’s Parliament. It states that the Prime Minister’s visit is a repeat of India’s multidimensional and deep historical relations with Namibia.
