Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday called upon the voters of Jammu and Kashmir to make the celebration of democracy a success by voting in large numbers. There itself, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to form a visionary government that can take strong decisions for the security, peace and stability of the Union Territory. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Tuesday, in view of the last phase of voting in Jammu and Kashmir, appealed to the people to ensure their participation in making this Union Territory safe, well-governed and progressive.
Let us tell you that in view of the ongoing voting for the third and final phase in Jammu and Kashmir, he expressed confidence that apart from the youth who are going to vote for the first time, women will also participate enthusiastically in the voting.Voting is taking place on 40 seats in the last phase. 415 candidates are in the fray in this round.
Modi said in a post on ‘X’, “Today is the third and last round of voting in Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. I request all the voters to come forward and cast their vote to make the celebration of democracy successful. He said, “I am confident that apart from the youth who are going to vote for the first time, there will be greater participation of women power in voting.”
At the same time, Shah wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Jammu and Kashmir needs a government which is visionary and can also take strong decisions for the security, peace and stability of this place.” He said, “Today, the people voting here in the last phase should form a government with the power of their vote which will keep Jammu and Kashmir away from terrorism, separatism, nepotism and corruption and is determined to protect the rights of every section of the society. Cast a historic vote for tourism, education, employment and all-round development in Jammu and Kashmir.”

He said that the maturing and inclusive democracy in Jammu and Kashmir will create a better destiny and future for the people here. He said, “The creation of Jammu and Kashmir free from corruption, nepotism and anarchy will be realized with the active participation of everyone.”
In this phase, more than 39 lakh voters will vote at 5060 polling stations. Earlier, the first and second phases of voting were held on 18 and 25 September.
