Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee, born on January 5, 1955 in Kolkata, started her political career with the Congress Party at the age of just 15 years. She contested the 1984 Lok Sabha elections for the first time on a Congress ticket and reached the Lok Sabha after winning. After this, in the year 1991, she was re-elected to the Lok Sabha and also got the post of Minister of State in the Central Government. She continued to be an MP from 1991 to 2009. At the same time, she remained in the headlines despite her sharp protests against the Leftist government of Bengal. Meanwhile, in 1997, he separated himself from the Congress and formed his own Trinamool Congress (TMC) party. In 2011, she was successful in toppling the Left government in West Bengal and becoming the Chief Minister herself. Since then, Mamata Banerjee has remained on the post of Chief Minister by winning every time.
