The Congress said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have to answer clearly in both houses of Parliament during the monsoon session on the claim of US President Donald Trump to stop military conflicts between India and Pakistan.
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also said that President Trump claimed this 23 times in 66 days and can do further.
Ramesh posted on ‘X’ and said that Trump has reiterated 23 times in 66 days that he stopped the war. He said, ‘Parliament will resume from July 21. There is no doubt that the score (of Trump’s claim) will change before that. But the Prime Minister will have to answer clearly in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The country wants to know the truth.
Announcing the trade agreement with Indonesia, President Trump said, ‘Now they are working in the same direction with India. We will get admission in India. You have to understand that we did not reach any of these countries. Our people could not go there and now we are getting admission because we are doing this through fee.
US President Trump has claimed several times in the last few weeks that he resolved the military struggle between India and Pakistan through a trade agreement in the last May.
India, on the other hand, says that after contacting the Director General of Military Operations of Pakistan (DGMO), it was considered to stop military action.
