The Congress on Tuesday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘silence’ on ‘massacre’ in Gaza has hurt India’s moral and political reputation.
Party General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also expressed concern that the ‘ceasefire’ was announced between Israel and Iran, but there is no ceasefire in Gaza yet.
US President Donald Trump announced to agree on the ceasefire of Israel and Iran. The war between Israel and Iran continues for the last 12 days. The US also carried out military attacks on three most important nuclear centers in Iran.
Ramesh posted on X, ‘President Trump has announced a ceasefire against Iran regarding the US-Israel War. But there is still no ceasefire in Gaza where the Israeli massacre continues unabated. He said, ‘Prime Minister Modi’s silence on this disaster has been dominating the Palestinians for more than 18 months and has hurt India’s moral and political reputation.’
