The case pertains to Kalaburagi Central Jail in Karnataka, from where 6 notorious prisoners were transferred to other jails in the state. Now a video of 4 of these prisoners has surfaced, in which these accused are seen partying inside the jail. They sit together, drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. There are also mobile phones and chargers inside the jail.
Many prisoners were transferred to other jails
Let us tell you that Kalaburagi Central Jail Chief Superintendent R Anita has taken strict action against the nefarious activities of prisoners inside the jail since she took charge in October. To break this nexus, many prisoners of the jail were transferred to other jails, as investigation revealed that many of them were living a luxurious life inside the jail.
This video is two months old
The prisoners seen in the video are the same who had threatened to blow up the car of Chief Jail Superintendent R Anitha. A jail official, on condition of anonymity, said that the video is two months old. They also suspect that the video was deliberately shot by pouring tea decoction into the glass to make it look like liquor. However, the jail superintendent did not react to the video.
