Raipur, 6 May (IANS). In Chhattisgarh, the third phase of “Good Governance Tihar” started with the aim of strengthening good governance and promoting public problems is going on loudly in the entire state from May 5. Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma said that in this phase, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai himself is making accidental visits in various districts and listening directly to the villagers and listening to their problems. Under this campaign, Samadhan Camps are being organized, where information about various government schemes is being given and the applications received are being resolved in a timely manner.

Tankaram Verma recently visited the Samadhan Camp held in Tigdi village of his charge in his charge. He said, “I noticed that people are getting the benefits of government schemes effectively. The most applications in the camps are related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The government has recently conducted a new survey for this scheme, so that the eligible beneficiaries can be identified. Stalls of all departments are being set up in the camps, where people are getting information about the schemes and submitting applications.”

The Government of Chhattisgarh has given priority to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Verma said that Chief Minister Sai had promised to approve 18 lakh houses after coming to power and work is being done in this direction. We have approved 18 lakh houses, and many more houses have to be given. This effort of the government is seeing enthusiasm and positivity among the people. The problem of drinking water after housing is also prominent in the applications received in the camps.

Tankaram Verma said that the problem of drinking water in summer is natural. There is a shortage of water in four-five villages of Sarangarh district, where water is being transported through tankers. For this, he held a meeting with the district administration and gave instructions to solve. Apart from this, applications related to electricity, ration cards, pension, education, and health are also being received in camps, which are targeted to be resolved within a month.

As the Revenue Minister, Tankaram Verma said that the problems of nomination and error correction are the highest among the complaints related to the revenue department. On the instructions of Chief Minister Sai, a significant change has been made recently, under which the process of nomination will also be completed along with the registry. This will provide great convenience to the landlords and will bring transparency in the process.

He said that Chief Minister Sai has given strict instructions to the officials that strict action will be taken to take any kind of bribe from the public. Chhattisgarh has a government of PM Modi’s guarantee and good governance of CM Sai, where there is no place for corruption. Our goal is to make Chhattisgarh a rich and developed state.

Tankaram Verma said that Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is going to visit Chhattisgarh soon. He has a deep attachment to Chhattisgarh. He brings something new every time. This time too, a large number of beneficiaries will get the benefit of housing and other schemes.
