Punjab : There is a possibility of a major reshuffle in the cabinet of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Five ministers may be shown the way out of the cabinet, while six new ministers are likely to be included. The Punjab government has sought time on Monday to meet the Governor. It is being told that Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal has called Punjab ministers and some MLAs to Delhi. There may be a discussion about cabinet expansion in the meeting. Let us tell you that after being released from jail on bail, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal surprised everyone by announcing his resignation from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi.

There are 16 cabinet ministers in Punjab including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, some of these ministers may be removed and some may have their ministries changed. According to sources, the ministers who may be removed include Revenue, Disaster Management and Water Supply Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Labor and Tourism Minister Gagan Anmol Mann, Local Bodies and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Balkar Singh and Information and Public Reforms Minister Chetan Singh Joda Majra. The government has also sought resignations from these ministers.

They can get a place

According to party sources, the MLAs who may get a place in the cabinet include Jivanjit Kaur, MLA from Amritsar East, Barinder Goyal, MLA from Lehragaga, Taranpreet Singh Sondh, MLA from Khanna seat, Hardeep Singh Mundian, MLA from Sanewal, Davinderjit Singh Ladi, MLA from Bagha Purana. It is being told that these MLAs can be sworn in as ministers at 5 pm on Monday evening.

This is the fourth reshuffle

Let us tell you that this is the fourth cabinet reshuffle during the tenure of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. There are 16 cabinet ministers including CM Bhagwant Mann, while 18 cabinet ministers can be made.
