Dehradun, September 21 (IANS) Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Saturday, Uttarakhand is a very harmonious state. There is no place for riots and arson here. Some such incidents have happened in the past. Due to which an attempt has been made to spoil the atmosphere of the state. I want to say that no one should even think of doing such incidents in future.
The Chief Minister said that the Governor has approved the anti-riot law. After its implementation, if anyone is found rioting or arsoning in the state or damages the state government’s property, then the rioters will be made to pay for it. Every single rupee will be recovered from the rioters.
The Chief Minister said, this law was very necessary for our state. With the anti-riot law in place, such incidents will end completely. The purpose of bringing this is that ours is a very peaceful state, there is no place for riots, vandalism, disturbance here.
Let us tell you that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked the Governor for getting the approval of the anti-riot law. Ministers of his government were also present with the Chief Minister.
Dhami attended several programs organized in the state on Saturday. Dhami posted on Instagram. In the post, he wrote, by setting up a sports university in the state, our players will get world-class facilities and new employment opportunities. Our government has provided government jobs to 31 players who won medals at the national and international level.
Dhami said that the process of filling vacant government posts in the state is going on continuously, in this sequence appointment letters have been provided to 1094 junior engineers. Our government has made appointments on more than 17000 posts in the last 3 years.
