Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on the completion of 55 years on Thursday. Party chief Mallikarjun Kharge praised him for his dedication to the values of the Constitution and condolences to millions of people, whose voice is often ignored.
The former Congress president and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Gandhi received warm congratulations from the leaders of several India coalition components. DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin described him as his ideal brother – “Those who are not with blood, but with thoughts, vision and purpose.”
In a post on X, Kharge greeted Gandhi’s birthday.
The Congress president said, “Your clear commitment to the values of the Constitution and your deep condolences to social, political and economic justice for millions of people, whose voice is often unheard of makes you different.”
Kharge said, “Your work continuously reflects the ideology of unity, harmony and compassion in the diversity of the Congress party. As you continue your mission to bring the truth to power and support the last person, I wish you a long, healthy and happy life ahead.”
DMK leader Stalin said on X, “Happy birthday to my ideal brother Rahul Gandhi – who are not with blood, but with views, vision and purpose. You remain firm and lead with courage. In our March towards a bright India, we will win.”
Former Uttar Pradesh leader and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “Hearty congratulations to Mr. Rahul Gandhi on his birthday and best wishes for his inclusive, adjusting and broad-political activism!”
NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule also congratulated Gandhi on his birthday. He said, “Happy birthday to Congress leader Rahul Gandhiji, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Your coming year should be healthy!”
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav wished Gandhi’s healthy, successful, happy, long and prosperous life.
Congress general secretary and organization in -charge KC Venugopal appreciated Gandhi and said that his courage to compete with fascists without any fear, his message of victory of love over hatred and his visionary thinking for the poor, marginalized people and backwards make him a leader that India needs in this “difficult period”.
Venugopal said on X, “I wish the entire Congress family and millions of people across the country, our dear leader, Leader of Opposition Shri Rahul Gandhi, a very happy birthday!”
He said, “Your courage to compete with fascists without any fear, your message of victory of love over hatred, and your visionary thinking for the poor, marginalized people and backward, makes you a leader that our country needs in this difficult time.”
He said that the historic India Jito Yatra and the India Joint Nyaya Yatra have raised a ray of hope in the hearts of millions of people under the burden of economic and social injustice and your dedication to bring true social change is a way to which your opponents are forced to follow.
Venugopal said, “We all wish you good health and are eager to be a part of your mission!”
Congress General Secretary Sachin Pilot congratulated Gandhi on his birthday and said that his sensitivity and commitment to social justice has given a new direction to political discourse.
He said in his post on X, “I honestly wish for a great success in the progress of every section of the society and your efforts being made for the expected changes. I also pray to God that the coming year brings happiness, prosperity and good health for you.”
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy described Gandhi as “Asha of India”.
Reddy said on X, “My leader is a happy birthday to #Hopeofindia, he is an incarnation of silence, true visionary, kind and intelligent, who has the interests of the people, and he is a soldier fighting for India’s views, the inspiration for all those who are really loved by India, and most of the excellent humans I have met, one of the excellent humans that I have met.”
He said, “More and more people of India can feel their love for you, more and more people can understand your true commitment to India and every Indian.”
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot greeted Gandhi for his birthday and said that the extent to which he is fighting for the rights of the exploited, underprivileged, Dalits, tribals, backward classes and poor in this country, is really unprecedented.
Gehlot said on X, “This is true social justice. We are all standing with you in this battle of justice. I sincerely hope that your determination to protect the Constitution and democracy and the message of peace and love in the whole country will be successful.”
He said that now the time has come for you to come forward and lead the country, strengthen democracy and protect the Constitution.
The Congress appreciated Gandhi on its official X handle and said that through its fearless loyalty and tireless commitment, he reminds us all that the real change is inspired by compassion and sympathy.
The party said, “You are a true warrior for justice. You are the voice of the unruly and a tireless supporter for equality. This year brings happiness for you and the ideals you are standing for, you get new strengths to carry forward and bring the changes you are committed to.”
It said, “Thank you for your deep resolutions and impeccable hope. Happy birthday Rahul Gandhi.”
The Indian Youth Congress said in a post on X, “Celebrate Rahul Gandhi, whose unwavering commitment to the nation brings hope and strength for millions of people.
