Rahul Gandhi cooked food with a Dalit family, shared the video and said – We will protect the Constitution that gives rights to Bahujans.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday stressed the need for inclusivity and equality in the country and said that Congress will protect the Constitution which gives participation and rights to Bahujans. He shared a video on ‘X’ from his visit to ‘Dalit Kitchen’ in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. In this video he can be seen helping in cooking.

The former Congress President said, “Even today very few people know about Dalit Kitchen. As Shahu Patole ji (associated with Dalit Kitchen) said, “No one knows what Dalits eat.” “Curiosity about what they eat, how they cook it, and what its social and political significance is, I spent an afternoon with Ajay Tukaram Sanade ji and Anjana Tukaram Sanade ji.”

He said, “In Kolhapur, Maharashtra, he invited me to his home with respect and gave me a chance to help in the kitchen. Together we made ‘Harabhyachi Bhaaji’ of gram greens and toor dal with brinjal.

Gandhi said that the Constitution gives shares and rights to Dalitbahujans, and Congress will protect that Constitution. According to him, the lack of awareness about the food and the importance of documenting this culture was discussed.

Rahul Gandhi said, “True inclusivity and equality of all in the society will be possible only when every Indian strives with the spirit of brotherhood in his heart.”
