Jammu, September 9 (IANS) BJP national spokesperson Prem Shukla on Monday said that Congress leaders defame India at the behest of China. In an exclusive interview with IANS, he hit back at the statement made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the US.
BJP spokesperson Prem Shukla said, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, starts taking an anti-India tone. Whenever he goes to foreign soil, he is found involved in anti-India activities.
The BJP spokesperson said, Rahul Gandhi praised China on the issue of unemployment. He said that there is no unemployment in China. But the truth is that China has more than 17 percent unemployment, which is almost three times that of India.
He said that Rahul Gandhi is a benefactor of China. As soon as he goes abroad, he says that there is no democracy in India, whereas he sees democracy in China.
Earlier, Prem Shukla strongly condemned the statements being made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from American soil and alleged that Rahul Gandhi is in cahoots with the elements that are dividing the country.
Countering Rahul Gandhi’s statement on BJP and RSS, he said, Rahul Gandhi speaks ill of India and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and keeps criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which proves that Rahul Gandhi is in league with the elements who are dividing the country.
Reacting to the stone pelting on the pandal of Lord Ganpati in Surat, Gujarat, the BJP spokesperson said that during the Ganesh festival in Surat, Gujarat, stone pelters tried to disrupt the law and order of Surat and create riots by targeting the idol of Ganpati Bappa. This is a well-planned conspiracy, its aim is to create riots in Gujarat. Taking cognizance of this incident, the state Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi had resolved to arrest all the conspirators before sunrise. He fulfilled his resolution and put those who tried to spoil the face of Surat behind the bars of the jail and exposed the communal conspiracy.
