Patna, March 9 (IANS). Congress veteran and former MP Ali Anwar spoke specially to the news agency IANS on Saturday. During this, he responded to many questions asked on the country’s recent development.
Question: Congress leader Shama Mohammad has once again commented on which political ruckus has arisen. He claimed that mathematics came into the world through Islam. What would you say on this?
Answer: Such things are being burnt to distract from the right issues. There is an issue of unemployment and inflation in front of the country. Look at foreign affairs only, Indians are being tied with fetters. Real issues should be discussed in the country. We do not know what Shama Mohammed has said, we are not a mathematician. We only know that zero has been invented by Aryabhata.
Question: Is Islam the most progressive religion in the world?
Answer: Progressive is in many cases. For example, the share of daughters is fixed in the property of parents. But now all these things have no relevance what religion is. The government is bringing such a law that the officer of income tax will go to someone’s house without a warrant and search. He further said, bulldozers are going on despite the Supreme Court’s saying. The rule of law is not being seen. India is a democratic country, it is wrong to keep people entangled with unnecessary things.
Question: Is Rahul Gandhi true friendly to Muslims?
Answer: Rahul Gandhi is friendly not only for Muslims, but people of the whole country. Trump did not dare to send people of small country like Nepal to handcuffs. People there are taking passenger aircraft, but the people of India are coming to handcuffs. This is happening when PM Modi calls Trump his friend. Rahul Gandhi is fighting all these things. They are highlighting the weaknesses of their parties. Mahatma Gandhi also had the same nobility to rise above his weaknesses.
Question: It was the right decision not to go to Rahul Gandhi’s Mahakumbh?
Answer: Going to Mahakumbh, not going is a personal matter. Whether someone goes to perform Haj, or whether a festival is celebrated or not, these are personal matters. But today’s government is one who talks about people to identify with clothes, what to eat, what not to eat. In this country, an atmosphere of hatred against Muslims is being spread. It is a country for thousands of years and all live together with each other.
