Prashant Kishore, the founder of the Jansuraj Party, has said that the Election Commission should clarify the doubts raised by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi about the Maharashtra assembly elections.
The former election strategist said that although he does not consider himself “experts” in these matters, the Commission should respond to the allegations made by the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha in a written form.
Kishore told reporters, “Congress is the main opposition party in the country. Rahul Gandhi is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Therefore, the Election Commission should remove any doubts raised by them. ”
Before the assembly elections, the teenagers who went on a visit to Bihar to gather public support for the Janasuraj party were answering the questions of journalists in Begusarai late Sunday evening.
Rahul Gandhi wrote an article in a national English daily last week, alleging that the assembly elections in Maharashtra were not “independent and fair” last year, which is why the NDA won these elections, while a few months ago the BJP -led coalition had to face defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in this state.
Kishore said, “Rahul Gandhi has expressed his idea not in a letter, but in a newspaper through an article in writing.”
