He has demanded to release CCTV footage related to this case, which can increase problems for BJP. On Thursday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi directly attacked BJP in a press conference at the Congress headquarters in New Delhi. He alleged that this incident in Parliament is part of a well-planned conspiracy by BJP to divert people’s attention from the Adani issue.

When a journalist asked whether he would demand that the CCTV footage present in the Parliament premises be made public, Rahul Gandhi without hesitation replied, “Absolutely! We want them to release the CCTV footage immediately, so that the truth can be revealed to everyone and So that everyone can know the truth.” After this statement, problems may increase for BJP, because Rahul Gandhi’s direct objective now is to expose the truth of the entire incident.

Attempt to hide Adani case

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge made several serious allegations against BJP in a joint press conference today. Rahul Gandhi said that every effort was made to stop the discussion on Adani’s case in Parliament. He alleged that BJP took deliberate steps to divert attention from the issue. Rahul Gandhi also strongly criticized the statement given by the Home Minister on Ambedkar. He said that BJP’s thinking is anti-Ambedkar, and the party is creating division in the Indian society by making such statements.

Rahul Gandhi further told that when he was trying to go to the Parliament peacefully, BJP MPs were standing on the stairs with sticks and stopping him from entering the Parliament. Describing this incident as a ‘new distraction’, Rahul Gandhi said that these actions of BJP are their attempts to divert attention from the real issues. Rahul Gandhi demanded the Home Minister to resign and publicly apologize for insulting Ambedkar. He also said that such statements cannot be tolerated.
